The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between the type of CEO turnover (forced and voluntary) and the form of succession (internal and external) and the pricing of audit services. This research is applied in terms of purpose, and in terms of method is correlation and Ex-Post Facto. The statistical population of this research was the firms accepted in Tehran Stock Exchange, during the years 1395 to 1400, and the data of 76 firms were selected by the systematic elimination method, and the hypotheses were established using multiple regressions for panel data, using the fixed effects method, through EViews software was tested. The research results indicate that there is no significant relationship between CEO turnover and audit fees. This result is while the forced turnover of the CEO increases the audit fees and the voluntary turnover decreases the audit fees, and whether the successor CEO is internal or external has no relationship with the audit fees.Auditors in assessing the effects of CEO change in determining audit risk and business risk of the clients only consider the type of turnover and do not pay attention to the form of succession.
