The application of cloud computing accounting in inventory management not only contributes to cost reduction, enhanced accuracy, and information transparency but also signifies improvements in operational efficiency. Given the importance of this technology and the lack of a localized model for its implementation in Iran, the present study aims to develop a localized model for cloud computing accounting in inventory management. This research is a qualitative study employing thematic analysis and phenomenology, conducted in the year 2026. The dimensions and components of cloud computing accounting in inventory management were identified through Attride-Stirling's (2001) thematic analysis method, and the research analyses were performed using Colaizzi's seven-step technique. The research sample comprised 29 participants, including financial managers of companies, information technology specialists and cloud system implementers, supply chain and warehouse managers, independent and internal auditors, and university faculty members, who were selected through snowball sampling. The findings revealed that 123 concepts were extracted in the form of 31 basic themes, 8 organizing themes (data security, real-time tracking and recording, accessibility and scalability, infrastructure cost reduction, intelligent order and supply management, quality control and inventory counting, reporting and analytical dashboards, and process automation), and 2 global themes (cloud technology and infrastructure, and cloud-based inventory management processes), which together constitute the components of the proposed model for cloud computing accounting in inventory management. This research can enhance the awareness of managers, information technology specialists, and stakeholders regarding the benefits, challenges, and localization requirements of this technology.
