Financial Statement’s Analysis in the inflation situation

This paper, investigates the impact of inflation accounting application on key financial ratios for 38 companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange over a 5 years Period (1387-1391). To this end, studied the financial statements include balance sheet and income statement over 5 years for companies (190 financial statements) and calculated 2280 financial ratios for all companies that was presented based Historical Cost Accounting. Then all financial statements restated based Inflation Accounting (Changing Prices Accounting) and calculate second group of ratios that are included 2280 adjusted financial ratios. Research hypotheses are tested by Paired comparison t-test.
The results show that a significant difference between adjusted cost based financial ratios and historical cost based financial ratios occurs for Current ratios, Creditors turnover, Noncurrent turnover, Gearing ratios, Equity ratios, Rate of equity(ROE), Rate of assets (ROA), Operating profit margin, and Net Profit margin. There was no significant difference for Asit test ratio, Inventory turnover, and Current turnover.
