Abstract
The purpose of this article is to investigate the relationship between facial attractiveness and academic performance of accounting students. The research method is quantitative in terms of approach and applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlation type, and data analysis was performed using multivariate regression. The research data was extracted based on archival data from the academic records of accounting students at Islamic Azad University, Karaj Branch. The results of the study show that facial attractiveness, which is measured by the ratio of face width to height based on the student's photograph, has a negative and significant relationship with academic performance. Also, age, gender, and type of diploma have a significant relationship with academic performance. However, employment status does not have a significant relationship with students' academic performance. This study emphasizes that the academic performance of accounting students depends on their individual and psychological characteristics, including facial attractiveness.
